Xiaomi continues making kitchen products that not only make its assortment enlarge but also help the company in entering various niches. In the future, if it is not so now, this brand will be on everyone’s lips. As for today, the manufacturer launched the Xiaomi Milk Steamer, which is capable of quickly making a milk foam with a single key press. At the same time, it is priced at 299 yuan ($43) only.
Of course, it’s not made by Xiaomi itself. Instead, it is a third-party product, designed and made by Ningbo Xinxiang Technology Co., Ltd. Moreover, the manufacturer also provides an after-sales support, and customers can return it to the manufacturer within 7 days even for no reason.
Its main features are the one-click magnetic spin milking, hot milk function, separate cup body, and pull cup mouth design. The base is equipped with a DC motor with a maximum speed of 5,500rpm. In the process, the magnetic structure of the motor head drives the magnetic suspension component with magnetic force in the cup to rotate, which quickly produces fine milk foam.
The Xiaomi Milk Steamer supports three modes: normal temperature milk foam, hot milk foam, and hot milk. Among them, the machine uses the speed switching to achieve rapid and uniform heating when making hot milk. So no need to replace the magnetic suspension component. The maximum milk volume is 150ml when milking, and the maximum milk volume is 250ml when making hot milk.
The milk cup of the Xiaomi Milk Steamer is made of 316 stainless steel. After the milk foam making is finished, it is convenient to directly pour the milk foam as the flow rate is freely retractable.
In addition, the base cup body is designed separately. All electronic components and heating devices are designed on the base, and the cup can be directly put into the sink for washing.
After the eventual official release of Android Pie, quite a few phone makers have started Android Pie beta tests for top-tier smartphones. This includes OnePlus, Huawei, Nokia and a few more. Now, it seems the newly released POCO F1 will soon be added to that list. The most affordable Snapdragon 845 phone was spotted on Geekbench today running Google’s latest OS.
The Geekbench scores of the POCO F1 with Android Pie were certainly lower than the ones tested with Android Oreo for many. This leads us to believe that the handset could be running unfinished software or a beta build right now. That’s likely since almost all OEMs have yet to introduce a stable version of Android Pie yet. However, this Geekbench listing gives us hope that the update is arriving soon.
The POCO F1 just went on open sale a day back although this was just for the 6GB +128GB variant in India. Despite being an irresistible deal, the POCO F1 isn’t without its shortcoming. It has faced some nagging hardware issues like screen bleeding and ghosting, some pretty annoying software bugs, some of which were fixed by the company. It’s still an irresistible device.
Устройства будут продаваться в том числе в России, Украине и Белоруссии.

In recent times, there has been a lot of fuss regarding the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Max 3. This smartphone has passed through FCC, TENAA and some of its features have been speculated. From previous reports, this phablet is scheduled to arrive in July and it is expected to continue the legacy of the Max lineup with a huge battery and large display. The screen of the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 was surprisingly listed on AliExpress for $65.00 and from the appearance, this phablet will use a notchless full-screen design with an aspect ratio of 18:9. However, the forehead and the chin are not entirely thin.
According to its recent TENAA listing, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will be equipped with a 6.9-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with a display resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and it should be powered by a Snapdragon 710 SoC clocking 1.8GHz coupled with 3GB/4GB/6GB of RAM and multiple memory options (probably 32 GB/64GB/128GB). It is expected that this phablet will run on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out-of-the-box and its lights will be kept on by a 5400 mAh battery. Rumors have it that this device will sell for 1699 Yuan ($258).
It is worth mentioning that Lei Jun recently displayed the box of Xiaomi Mi Max 3 on Weibo. The size of the box is not small. It adopts the white minimalist style that Xiaomi currently focuses on, and has a large “3” on the outside.
With the popularity of smart wearable devices, more and more customers are switching to fitness trackers from classic watches and bracelets. Though the market is full of various brands that are offering different smartbands, the Xiaomi’s models stand out. The first two generations of Mi Bands were popular due to the sense of technology and practicality. That’s why they were accepted by customers easily. However, the Mi Band 2 was launched two years ago. And the company has had to update this product line. It happened on May 31, which the manufacturer announced the Xiaomi Mi Band 3. It got much attention from all corners of the globe. So we should find out what changes made it catch users’ eyes.
Xiaomi Mi Band 3 Design
In recent years, Xiaomi products have come in changed packaging. The Mi Band 3 is no exception. Compared with the previous two generations of bands, the Xiaomi Mi Band 3 has a distinctly different packaging style. Instead of a yellow paper box, it uses a new style of white flip plastic design. The main body of the product can also be seen directly through the outer packaging.
The box includes the main body of the Mi Band 3, the wristband, the charging cable, and the manual. Though there are various color options, including black, blue, and orange, the main body is black for all variants. Even the translucent variant uses the graphite black body.
The appearance is the biggest difference between the Xiaomi Mi Band 3 and the previous two generations of bracelets. The main body of this version is treated with a black process that hides the non-pressable button. The bracelet panel is treated with a UV coating process and is covered with an anti-fingerprint coating. As for the look and feel experience, the Mi Band 3 has a stronger sense of integration, with a more exquisite and compact texture than the previous two generations.
The back of the body is still equipped with a photoelectric heart rate sensor, which will have a green light when working. It is worth mentioning the treatment of the back of the main body is different from the previous models. It adopts a treatment process similar to that of the wristband.
The charging connectors are on the bottom. Compared with the traditional USB interface, the charging method eliminates the inconvenience caused by plugging and unplugging, and also saves valuable internal space.
In the first two generations, the problem related to the separation of the main body from the wristband has been solved in the Mi Band 3. Now it adopts a larger nesting area on the wristband to securely hold the main body on the wristband. According to the introduction, the Xiaomi Mi Band 3 adopts a two-color one-piece molding process of encapsulation to increase the ring area to achieve tight meshing.
The wristband is basically connected to the front of the body, and there is no obvious separation between them. It should be noted that the Mi Band 3 cannot be separated from the wristband from the front (outside), but needs to be separated from the back (inside). In other words, the band’s body can be effectively prevented from falling off inadvertently.
The design of the wristband is identical to the previous model. It uses the same snap-on solution. However, the manufacturer has used a higher quality material, which is felt from the first touch. Its skin-like texture hints we are dealing with a well-designed product.
In addition to the difference in the appearance of the main body, the screen is further enlarged. So it not only looks different but also provides better touch operations. The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 uses a 0.78-inch OLED display with a resolution of 128 x 80 and a 193ppi pixel density. As the company likes to say, this band can display up to 24 Chinese characters. And from this point of view, it has obvious advantages over other bracelets on the market.
Xiaomi Mi Band 3 Operations
Compared with the previous generation, the full-screen touch scheme significantly enriches the interaction mode.
One of the Xiaomi Mi Band 3’s selling points is the 5ATM waterproofing certification. Thus, it can be used when swimming. But we should note the screen loses its touch functionality in the water like many smartphones.
In line with the previous Mi bracelet, it is also used on the smartphone with the ‘Mi Fit’ app, and the sync process is also the same. Through the app, users can view the status, function management, etc.
The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 supports many reminder functions such as the sedentary reminder, event reminder, etc. Plus, it supports a real-time heart rate detection function and views sleep quality.
Thanks to the screen size increase, the Mi Band 3 can implement way more functions directly from the body’s screen. Say, we can view the date and time, band’s status, motion information, heart rate, weather forecast, mobile notifications, and so on. All operations can be listed by sliding on the screen and selecting via a long press.
If the motion information and other data are shown in a common way, the message notification function has been updated. Now the Xiaomi Mi Band 3 will show the message content by swiping left and right on the screen.
Even do not dream of replying to those messages via the Mi Band 3.
One of the features we liked most is the ability to use the stopwatch, find the phone, and dial style options directly from the screen. No need to open the APP to implement these operations.
In addition, when the APP is in the sports mode, the Mi Band 3 will keep ON the pedometer. So, when you are running or riding, you can easily display your key data in motion through the screen.
The Bottom Line
In terms of various functions, the Xiaomi Mi Band 3 has a distinct experience advantage over the previous two generations. At the same time, it allows users not to use smartphones to implement various functions. So we can state this fitness tracker can do much more than many models available on the market.
What’s more important, these features didn’t affect the Mi Band 3’s pricing much. The regular version is priced at 169 yuan ($25). Thus, for a quite low price tag, you can get your hands on a smartband that has inherited many features from a regular smartwatch.
In short, the experience brought by the Mi Band 3 will not be disappointing, and it is bound to become one of the best fitness trackers on the market.

Xiaomi has begun making TVs since 2013. In these years, it has managed to become a top brand in the domestic market. Over 550.000 TVs shipped in March. This is a record for the company and this sales number took it to the second position in the Chinese TV market. Actually, there is no secret how an 8-year old company is beating all of its competitors one after another. Like the Xiaomi smartphones, the Mi TVs come with the best hardware and performance at relatively affordable price tags. Today the manufacturer announced a new product from this line dubbed as the Xiaomi Mi TV 4S 50-inch. It’s is priced at 2399 yuan ($379).
The Mi TV currently has four product lines including the original series, A, C, and S. Each of them comes with various diagonals such as 32, 40, 43, 50, 55, and 65 inches. Its been quite some time since Apple debuted the controversial depth-sensing Face ID. And unlike notches which are everywhere, the Android ecosystem doesn’t have a proper equivalent to Apple’s new unlock system. Sure, face unlock is a feature in many Android devices but it isn’t backed by a depth-sensing system. However, a new report says that a new hardware-backed facial recognition is being developed for Q3, 2018. And that the Xiaomi Mi 7 will come with that 3D sensing technology.
According to the report, the technology is still not ready for prime time as the 3D sensing module has issues working in tandem with current hardware and software. The best work in this regard is from Qualcomm, Himax Technologies, and Truly Opto-electronics. The module only works with the Snapdragon 845 chip which is another hint that the Mi 7 might be the first phone with such a feature. As Huawei and Samsung don’t use only Qualcomm chips in their flagships, the Mi 7 becomes a key contender for the first 3D sensing face unlock.
As a matter of fact, the report says that the Mi 7 was supposed to launch in Q2, 2018. But the same 3D sensing face unlock got it delayed to Q3. Moreover, unlike the iPhone X, the Mi 7 is expected to come with an in-display fingerprint reader, as hinted by company CEO. The handset is likely to feature a notch and wireless charging as other marquee features.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi is gearing up to release the Mi 6X in China on April 25. The handset will be a successor to the Mi 5X and feature dual cameras, and a Snapdragon 660 as vital components.
With the Xiaomi Mi 6X set for April 21 unveiling, a new Xiaomi phone appears to be in the works, as indicated by an approval granted by China’s TENAA. Bearing the model number M1803E6E, the device is speculated to either be the next Mi Max or the next generation Redmi. The Redmi is, however, more likely, bearing in mind that the Mi Max series typically come with a larger display and huge battery capacity.
As per the listing on TENAA, the device is tipped to come with a 5.99 inches display, with 720p resolutions and the trendy 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is expected to pack an unnamed chipset with an octa-core CPU clocked at up to 2.0GHz, coupled with 2/16GB, 3/32GB, and 4/64GB and storage options. The device when launched will be available in White, Silver, Gray, Black, Gold, Rose Gold, Blue, Red, and Pink color options.
powered by a 3,000mAh battery, the Xiaomi phone bearing the model number M1803E6E comes fitted with a dual camera setup on the rear, and while the listing has it that the device will come with three cameras, it only confirmed the 12MP sensor and doesn’t specify the secondary one, with a 16MP sensor above the display for quality selfies.
